Training

During my 30+ years I have worked my way up from the “pit face” (quite literally speaking in my early landfill days) gaining a good knowledge of waste management, with specific training and qualifications related to the Environmental Protection Act 2009 https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1990/43/contents, the Hazardous Waste Regulations https://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2005/894  2005, the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 . https://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2011/988 and subsequent revisions and legislation derived from them. These include Level 4 WAMITAB with continued competence in TNH TSH CLR, CL:AIRE courses in the Definition of Waste approved Code of Practice (DoWCoP)  and CIWM courses in waste classification using WM3.

I have also undertaken a wide variety of training to facilitate my career from health and safety for the construction industry including a National Vocational Qualification level 4 Construction Site Management.

During my career I have also been called upon to produce and deliver training for awareness of all aspect of the Waste Duty of Care and waste management compliance. This was not limited to inhouse, but external training and guidance to customers and suppliers. I have experience with group training in person and online and given one to one training and advice.
